Raphinha scored the opening goal in minute 7, heading after a accurate cross by Lamine Yamal on the right side.
The second goal was scored in minute 23, as Ferran Torres struck it from distance. The move was contentious since Mallorca’s captain Raíllo was brought down injured but play continued.
It worsened for Mallorca at halftime with Manu Morlanes red-carded in the 33rd and Vedat Muriqi in the 38th minutes, reducing the home team to a mere nine players on the pitch.

Late in stoppage time, Lamine Yamal netted the third with incredible solo effort. He beat defenders with his characteristic left foot, before bending in a shot to the top corner in the 94th minute.
The 3-0 victory not only gives Barça three points but also a +3 goal difference, and they sit atop the standings after Matchday 1.

“Playing 50% or 60% is not possible, even against nine men.”
On Ferran’s disputed goal, he went on to say:
